Next month an impressive lineup of musicians will gather at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on January 10 to honor Gregg Allman. The Allman Brothers, Widespread Panic, Robert Randolph, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Sam Moore, Taj Mahal and Warren Haynes are just a few of the acts taking part in All My Friends: A Tribute To Gregg Allman. This morning it has been revealed Vince Gill, Dr. John and Chuck Leavell have been added to the lineup.

As we mentioned the concert will be filmed and today’s announcement confirms the resulting footage will air as part of a special on AXS TV in May.

“The addition of Vince Gill, Dr. John and Chuck Leavell makes this already incredible lineup even more special,” commented show creator and executive producer Keith Wortman in a statement. “I’m also thrilled to be partnering with AXS TV to bring this special concert event to Gregg Allman fans around the country.”

The house band for the evening will feature Leavell, Don Was, Kenny Aronoff, Jack Pearson and Audley Freed. Tickets sold out quickly after going on sale.
