Arcade Fire Added To Bridge School Benefit Concert

Last week Jack Johnson was added to the Saturday Bridge School Benefit Concert lineup as a replacement for The Killers. Today, Live Nation has announced that Arcade Fire will also play Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA on Saturday, October 26 as part of the annual benefit. The two-day event takes place on both the 26th and Sunday, October 27.

This year’s Bridge School lineup also features CSNY, Queens Of The Stone Age, My Morning Jacket, Jack Johnson (Saturday Only), Tom Waits (Sunday Only), Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, fun., Jenny Lewis and Heart. Arcade Fire performed at the 2011 installment of the event, where they even played “Helpless” with host Neil Young. Take a look:

We’re interested to see how the material from the soon-to-be-released Reflektor LP translates to the acoustic setting of the Bridge School Benefit shows.
