It's Always Sunny For Portugal. The Man

It's a sign of the times that bands are just as likely to release videos without any music in them as they are to put out standard music videos. Whether it's Umphrey's McGee promoting a Red Rocks shows or Phish using drummer Jon Fishman to hilariously promote a tour, these acts are getting more creative in promoting themselves beyond the music. The latest example comes from indie rockers Portugal. The Man, who have teamed up with two cast members of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia for a goofy clip they have posted on their YouTube Channel.

In the clip we see a member of the band face off against Glenn Howerton, aka Dennis from It's Always Sunny, in an eternal high-five competition. The video features that trademark It's Always Sunny wit and features an appearance from Rob McElhenney, who plays Mac on the FX comedy. At the end, we see a bumper advertising P.TM's new album, Evil Friends, but this video isn't so much about the music as it is promoting the band and showing they have a sense of humor.
