From the PHISH UPDATE...

Trey returns to the road this summer with an ever-expanding band, playing nineteen concerts across the U.S. this July and August.

Kicking off the tour July 11 with a week of dates on the west coast, Trey and his band will trek east playing amphitheatres, including two-night stands at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA and Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver. The tour wraps up at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY on August 5.

The tour marks Trey's third solo outing with the same rhythm section: bassist Tony Markellis and drummer Russ Lawton. Originally a trio when Trey toured in the spring of 1999, Anastasio added Dave Grippo on saxophone, Jennifer Hartswick on trumpet and Andy Moroz on trombone for a three week tour this past February. The group of six will become eight this summer when Trey adds saxophonist Russell Remington (of Giant Country horns fame) and keyboardist Ray Paczkowski to the mix.

Full tour date information, including on-sale information, can be found on the Tourdates page on the Phish website. To view an HTML-only listing of the tour dates, please visit http://phish.com/print/tour_print.html.

Tickets to Trey Anastasio's Summer Tour will be offered by mail order. When ordering tickets for Phish concerts on previous tours via Tickets-by-Mail, you were required to send in a form from the Doniac Schvice newsletter, or print a downloadable form from Phish.com. THIS PROCESS HAS BEEN CHANGED. Now, mail order tickets can ONLY be ordered via our secure online system by credit card. We will not be offering a printed form to mail in as we have in the past.

Tickets may only be ordered on this site (http://www.phish.com/ticketsbymail) during a three-day period beginning NOON EST on Wednesday, April 25 through NOON PM EST on Saturday, April 28. You will be able to order tickets to one or more shows on the tour, all on the same order screen. There is no advantage to ordering earlier during this three day period. Orders received during that time will be filled on a random basis. For the love of our trusty server, please consider placing your order at non-peak hours (later at night, early morning). This will help balance out the demand and ensure a solid connection.

We will make every effort to send out filled or partially filled orders before the tickets go on sale through outlets, but we cannot guarantee this. Orders will be sent out via 2-Day Federal Express or International Federal Express throughout May.

For detailed information, you can check out the welcome screen at http://www.phish.com/ticketsbymail. The ticketing site is built in standard HTML. You will not need Flash to access the ticketing site.

After months of development, we relaunched the Phish web site [www.phish.com] on the morning of Tuesday, April 17. The new site contains a number of new features -- an expansive FAQ section, areas devoted to past Schvice features such as Mike's Corner, Fish's Forum and Letters (all of which will have new material on a regular basis), a new and improved Dry Goods Dept., and much more. Still to come in the next few weeks is the Official Releases section, with in-depth features on each of the band's albums. The site is a work in progress. Be sure to check back in for new features and refined usability. We've received great feedback already. Please continue to send us your suggestions at web@phish.com.

This site is built completely with Flash technology and you will need the Flash plug-in to view the Phish site. Click to get plug-in.
