Explosions in the Sky to Open for Smashing Pumpkins

I haven't heard too many favorable reviews of the "re-united" (2 out of 4) Pumpkins. Time to go to their back catalog.

There are upwards of 140 pumpkins shows now available for streaming or download on archive, as Stevie t mentioned. All of their recent shows, just about, are there for you to check out. The setlist does change, however, certain songs are being played every night. Here's the link:

if you think new live pumpkins isn't good

goto the live music archive and listen to 6-19-07. trust me, i've listened to them my whole life and i'm not that enthusiastic about the album. but they really are back whether people are ready to accept them or not. people had a hard time accepting them in the 90's and that won't change now even 10 or so years in the future. you just don't *get* it.

"i saw explosions in the sky on conan and they were pretty cool. but, "emotional guitar rock"? hahaha uhhhh (gag)"

Not to try to start a fight over this, but couldn't you describe the Smashing Pumpkins as "emotional guitar rock"? There is much guitar and emotion in their music...
