Panic Fans for Food has teamed up with to create a fantasy setlist contest for the upcoming Widespread Panic 2001 Spring Tour. Panic Fans For Food is an organization devoted to assisting the hungry throughout the country by raising food and money at Widespread Panic concerts. This is done in order to leave a positive mark on the communities through which Widespread Panic travels as a gesture of gratitude. The organization also would like to ensure that Widespread continues to play the choice venues throughout the country. We would like to think that our efforts go far towards securing this goal.

Panic Fans For Food began on October 30, 1999, in New Orleans, Louisiana in conjunction with Widespread Panic's annual Halloween run at UNO Keifer Lakefront Arena. In just over one year, they have gathered over $4,000 in cash and over 5000 lbs of canned goods for 12 different cities, nationwide.

The organization was started by Joshua Stack, in an effort to exercise a social conscience while having fun at the same time. With the help of Jennifer Jones, they were able to launch an organization that has since taken on countless volunteers to assist in the success of our cause, every one of whom has been crucial and instrumental to the cause.
