Jim James Performs On ‘The Tonight Show’

Today, Jim James issued a solo album entitled Eternally Even via ATO Records/Capitol Records. Last night the My Morning Jacket frontman appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and performed songs from the new record.

The follow-up to his 2013 solo LP Regions Of Light And Sound Of God features nine new tracks and was co-produced by James and Blake Mills. Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show featured James backed by members of The Roots and vocalist Shungudzo Kuyimba performing the album track “Here In Spirit.” The program also shared bonus footage of a rendition of the Eventually Yours song “Same Old Lie.”
