Born in the UK, I started singing at an early age. On moving to Florida in 2008, I continued singing at home, before getting the courage to sing karaoke at a local restaurant. I now sing at various karaoke venues in and around Charlotte County, and have entered several local competitions, winning Englewood Idol in 2012.
I can sing and enjoy various genres of music, including contemporary pop, soft rock, country, oldies, ballads and musicals. I have been learning piano too.
My favorite artists are Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Florence & The Machine, The Police, Adele, ColdPlay - to name just a few. I often sing songs from these artists and also many more.
In November 2012, a local restaurant, Beyond The Sea invited me to stage my own show, and I sang a wide range of songs over a 2 hour period.
Since that time, I have performed my show several times at Beyond The Sea, at Mango Bistro and at Nikki's Place. At the end of December 2012, I was also invited to guest sing a few songs by well known and long established local entertainment group Memories which was great fun as there was a full house!
