Icebird (RJD2 & Aaron Livingston)
Icebird (RJD2 & Aaron Livingston) Icebird is the collaborative duo made up of DJ/producer rjd2 and singer-songwriter Aaron Livingston. rjd2's decade-long career includes critically-acclaimed solo records like Deadringer and Since We Last Spoke, nation-wide commercials ranging from Radio Shack to Wells Fargo, features in video games like NBA2K5, and theme songs for the shows Mad Men and TNT's Inside The NBA. Aaron's successful resume includes participating in the influential Black Lily Music Festival, heading the group The Mean, and singing on The Roots' track "Guns Are Drawn" off their Game Theory album. The duo first worked together when Aaron appeared on the track "Crumbs Off The Table" off rjd2's most recent album, Colossus. Now, together as Icebird, they will be releasing the full-length album, The Abandoned Lullaby, on October 11th through rjd2's own label, RJ's Electrical Connections.
