Born Jason Horn, J HORNAY has been writing songs since he was a young kid growing up in Long Beach, CA and Phoenix, Arizona.
He’s played with and/or opened for the likes of Tech N9ne, Too Short, Kottonmouth Kings and Big B, to name a few. HORNAY is all about the laid back West Coast lifestyle of “chillin’ and smokin’ while grindin’.” He recently spent the last few years building High Maintenance Smoke Shop, his growing chain of Phoenix, AZ-area head shops, as a way to support his music and continue to be a part of the cannabis-loving community.
Now J Hornay is putting the finishing touches on fresh musical product which includes collaborations with Grammy nominated Planet Asia (Gold Chain Military) and Crooked Eye (Shady Records) and taking it all to forty-six cities on the 2011 Strange Noize Tour.
