Less than a year ago, Lick It Ticket, comprised of four talented and driven musicians from Iowa, set forth to create original music with grooving beats and catchy melodies that compel its listeners to abandon all inhibitions and let loose on the dance floor.
Playing with such bands as Euforquestra, Dead Larry, The Uniphonics, and the Flobots, Lick It Ticket has quickly gained respect among bands and audiences from a variety of musical backgrounds. Their first summer as a band, they have made their presence known at music festivals Project Earth, Camp Euforia, and Hidden Acres Music Farm. They plan to continue expanding their musical relevance in Colorado in August.
Combining contemporary jazz and improvisation with solid funk bass beats and progressive rock vocals, Lick It Ticket's music stretches the limits of modern jam music. The sounds of the future: You've never heard anything like it.
