Holy Moses and the High rollers is a true experiment with influences near and far. The band revives elements of jazz, rock, reggae, blues, folk, funk, and latin. Each member's influences can be distinctly heard in their music. Each style has been rearranged to help design and define their sound. The High Rollers' music appeals to all ages and crowds and has never failed to deliver.
Originally based out of Carlisle, PA at Dickinson College, the band now makes its home in Fort Collins, CO.
The High Rollers have been gaining a growing fan base and notoriety. Most notably, HMHR has played at the 10,000 Lakes Festival 2005 (Detroit Lakes, MN), Microbrews for the Environment 2005 (Boulder, CO) NewWestFest 2005 (Fort Collins, CO), Earthfest 2004 (Fort Collins, CO), and University of Vermont Spring Fling 2002.
They have shared the stage with national acts such as The Motet, Railroad Earth, The Jennifer Hartswick Band, Frequinox, Dave Chappelle, The Breakfast, Catch a Fire, Caveman, Wasabi, and Blitz Dynette. Their mission to grow musically and creatively is apparent in every song, whether old or new. The High Rollers have an insatiable appetite to share their music with everyone who is willing and able to take this journey into the inexplicable experiment that Holy Moses is undergoing.
