The local Denver/Boulder band Zobomazé began in late 2008 (first named Hardly
Phimp) with a vision to create funkadelic dance music that the crowds would all
enjoy. The band consists of Sean Dandurand (bass), Michael Paff (drums), Zach
Simms (saxophone) and Doug Litvak (guitar). The band came together and
immediately began creating progressive, psychedelic, funk music.
They have played shows around Colorado with groups such as The Motet,
Boombox, PRAANG, Toubab Krewe and others. They played Dreamtime Music
Festival 2009 (sharing the stage w/ Cheb i Sabbah and Govinda) and Dancin’ in the
Streets 2009 (sharing the stage w/ Leftover Salmon, Steve Kimock, DSO, and Billy
Nershi).
