Formed in 2005, The Royals of San Diego are committed to the recreation of the East Coast street corner sound from the 50s and 60s known as Doo Wop. They refer to themselves as an "East Meets West" group thanks to their origins. Peter and Kevin are from the East Coast (Massachusetts and New Jersey respectively). Susan, Dan, Jim B, Jim C are from the West Coast (California for Susan, Dan & Jim C; and Arizona for Jim B).
