Songs From The Road Band Collectively the Songs From The Road Band musicians combine talents from The SteepCanyon Rangers, The Emmitt-Nershi Band, Shannon Whitworth and the Refugees, Larry Keel and Natural Bridge, Town Mountain, The Super Grit Cowboy Band,The Grit Pixies, and more! They are currenty working on their second ablum: Songs From The Road Band Vol II As The Crow Flies. Members are Sam Wharton, Mark Schimick, Andy Thorn, Nicky Sanders, and Charles R Humphrey III. These core members are regularly joined by guest artists on their recordings and live performances. The Asheville based band plays original, mostly acoustic music that is self described as Cosmic American Bluegrass!
