The Strange
The Strange In Early 2009 Lead vocalist Lynsay Ayala joined a group of musicians, recently departed of their front man, which would soon become The Strange. Bringing their diverse influences and unified love of classic rock together, The Strange has become one of Santa Fe, New Mexico's most beloved new rock bands. This fusion is a mix of a sixties/seventies style classic rock akin to The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Neil Young, and more progressive styles including funk, reggae, folk, and rock-a-billy. Since their inception The Strange has captivated a local following as well as audiences across the Southwest. Recently featured at SXSW's New Music New Faces showcase in Austin, TX, and on air in Texas, Colorado, California, and New Mexico, the band had an opportunity to release its first single "Hold On". The song can be found on their debut album "BANNED".
