Phillip F. Tarver is a member of Valley Kingdom Ministries International, where the Sr. Pastor is Apostle H. Daniel Wilson. Valley Kingdom is a non-denominational ministry that teaches the full gospel of Jesus Christ and flows out of the five ascension gifts of Ephesians 4:11.
Phil has traveled with Apostle Wilson, ministering in conferences throughout the United States and in the nations of Peru, Brazil, and the Caribbean Islands, ministering in word and in song.
Phil Tarver is an ordained Elder, affirmed in the office of the Prophet, and serves as Minister of Music & Fine Arts of Valley Kingdom Ministries worship team "Shekinah Glory Ministry".
As worship leader, Elder Phil has recorded with Shekinah Glory Ministry on their second praise and worship CD & DVD, SHEKINAH GLORY MINISTRY "LIVE" leading, "Arise/Shine" & "How Deeply I Need You", and on their third CD release, JESUS, leading "STOMP".
In September of 2007, Elder Phil released his solo project, "Draw Nearer" under the record label of "Kingdom Records Inc." Since the release of Draw Nearer God has opened doors for Phil Tarver to minister on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show, headliner for the St. Lucia Caribbean Jazz Festival, and The Word Network - Rejoice In The Word – With Bishop Gregory Davis, along with ministering in various ministries.
On June 29, 2010 Elder Phil released his second project, "Place of Worship".
Elder Phil's desire as he stands before the people of God is to strengthen worship teams, congregations and leaders in ministry that, we may "worship as one".
Elder Phil is married to Vondrea, his wife of twenty-four years, and they have five children.
