Chris Jamison & The Secret Circus
Chris Jamison & The Secret Circus Chris Jamison was born in Texas but spent much of his youth in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. At the age of 16 Chris moved to London, England where he finished high school and, under the guidance of a few patient friends, first began to play guitar and fuse his passion for poetry with his love for music. After graduating from the Universtiy of Virginia in December of 2006, Chris began to set plans in motion for his debut album: "Into Surrender". For the project Chris called on his long-time friend and drummer Tommy Jackson and, with the help of Micah Berry (lead guitar/producer), began putting together an all-star line-up of Richmond, Virginia's finest musicians which would evolve into the Secret Circus.

In December of '06 the first half of the album was recorded at Minimum Wage Studios in Richmond, VA and the remainder of the album at Fairport Convention's Woodworm Studios in Oxfordshire, England. Upon leaving Woodworm the band was fortunate enough to have the album mastered at London's Abbey Road Studios with famed mastering engineer Sean Magee (pink floyd, paul mccartney) to put the finishing touches on the album. "Into Surrender" was released on Aug. 21 2007 in US stores as well as iTunes. Chris Jamison and the Secret Circus will be playing extensively in the States to support the release.
