Born In The Flood
Born In The Flood Born in the Flood's headwaters are the south banks of the Missouri River floodplains in remote Hermann, Missouri. Raised in the throes of blue collar life, childhood friends Nate Rateliff and Joseph Pope gained a shared world-view and musical vision. Their songs took shape with factories and farms looming in the background. Their songs pay tribute to rock gods like Radiohead and U2 but also have a knack for thoughtful, rhythm-driven pop with their organic anthems washed in big guitars and chunky keys. "If This Thing Should Spill" is chock full of fist pumping gems and true rock n' roll spirit.
