Pat Nevins
Pat Nevins Pat Nevins plays guitar and has sung in the San Francisco based bands Workingman's Ed, Ragged Glory, and more recently with Stu Allen and Mars Hotel. Pat currently plays alongside Allen, Mark Karan (Ratdog), Robin Sylvester (Ratdog), Mookie Siegel (David Nelson Band) and Greg Anton (Zero, Rock Collection) in the popular All-Star Electric tribute to Bob Dylan, Ghosts of Electricity. Pat is best known for his heartfelt delivery of Neil Young songs, as well as his originals that span two decades. He plays solo shows throughout Northern California, and has performed with a long list of notable Bay Area musicians including Bob Weir, James Nash, Reed Mathis, Melvin Seals, David Nelson, and Jason Crosby, to name a few. In 2003, Pat released Shakey Zimmerman on indie label Artmuse Records. The CD alternates Dylan & Young songs, including Neil Young's unreleased "Everybody's Alone". Pat is backed by Barry Sless of David Nelson Band, and Bill Laymon, formerly of the New Riders of the Purple Sage. Pat's latest project is ECHO TRAIL, a group of musicians from different corners of the jamband club circuit in the San Francisco Bay Area. Echo Trail brings to the stage a rich combination of electric folk rock that covers classics from the 60's, 70's and beyond. Along with a good dose of Neil Young tunes at every show, Echo Trail winds from Gordon Lightfoot to John Prine, Lowell George to Jackson Browne, and Gram Parsons to Tom Petty, covering a lot of ground with a solid groove.
