Digitalism
Digitalism DIGITALISM is dirty electro pogo shit hammered by the two studio junkies Jens "Jence" Moelle and Ismail "Isi" Tuefekci and comes directly from the underground scene of Hamburg's punk-electro city.

It all began a while ago when Jens was working in Hamburg's "Underground Solution" record store same store where Kid Alex began his career as a record seller - when Isi stepped in the store and had a first chat with Jens. Shortly after they went in Jens Studio and DIGITALISM was born. Jens did have keyboard practice for around four years and vocal practice for a year. He is writing the lyrics and sings them in his post-punkish way while the music is written and produced by the two knock-out musicians together.

The debut single "IDEALISTIC" was created in one of these nights when Jens & Isi went with the flow and hammered the first tune. A huge buzz followed through a limited press of white labels. It was kicked out by various key DJ's like Soulwax, Tiga, Westbam, Kid Alex, Jojo De Freq (Nag Nag Nag), Tom Neville, Rob Mello (Classic), Boris Dlugosch, Moonbootica, Satoshi Tomiie, Martini Brs, Marc Roberts (Bugged Out), Eric D. Clark, Zdar, Touche (Culture club), Pete Tong, Cajuan and many others. Shortly after Gildas Loaec (head of Kitsune and label manager of Daft Punk's label roule) discovered the track, played it out in Paris and contacted their management Metrobass Management - to sign it for his label KITSUNe. "Idealistic" has been released on April 17th 2005.

The new single "ZDARLIGHT" creates a huge buzz, too, and seems to become the Ibiza 2005 anthem. Already in the set of Tiga, Tiefschwarz, Soulwax, Tommie Sunshine, Pete Tong, Seb Fontaine, Boris Dlugosch, Mutiny, Azzido Da Bass, King Unique, Tom Neville, Spencer Parker, DJ Paulette, Moonbootica and many, many others. Ready for a release in September on Kitsune.

The first DIGITALISM remix offers came in, e.g. Daft Punk "Technologic" (Daft Trax/Labels), Tom Vek "Nothing but the green lights" (Island, UK), Martin Peter "Psychoville" (Angora Steel, a division of Compost Rec.), Munk "Disco Clown" (Gomma) Cut Copy "Going Nowhere" (Island) and Sono "A New Cage" (PIAS) to come out soon.

The first vocal featuring on Azzido Da Bass' new breakish single "Strobelightz" (Luscious Sound) was recorded and played out by Annie Nightingale (Radio 1/BBC UK).

Some side projects were recorded and got signed, e.g. JENCE "Sickness/Fitness" / "Pogo Galactica" (Systematic) and the PALERMO DISKO MACHINE Ep with the titles "Shake Dat Shit" and "Pump" for a November release in 2005 (Kitsune).

Aside from the productions DIGITALISM are rockin' the crowd with a brilliant mixture between electro, wave, punk, bastard pop, acid, minimal and tech-house - either on four decks simultaneous or on two decks with a double headphone (one spins the track while the other one is dropping some accapellas, edits or efx).

Whatever you expect you'll get a 100% professional multi-talented production on the one side and on the other side you have a DJ team which rocks the decks from the first record they play and let the crowd go insane after some minutes only with their pogo orientated DJ set.
