The legendary musicians of the Voice of the Wetlands All-stars were already working together with other volunteers to raise awareness of the erosion of the Gulf Coast wetlands before Hurricane Katrina. They continue to perform together as a common voice to bring attention to the problems that Louisiana's wetlands face.
The members of Voice of the Wetlands All-Stars are Tab Benoit, Dr. John, Cyril Neville, George Porter Jr., Anders Osborne, Johnny Vidacovich, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Johnny Sansone, and Waylon Thibodeaux.
