Electric Sammy lives and breathes guitar. Many years of practice and hard work has gotten him to where he is today with his tone and style of playing. He 1st started playing guitar at the age of 15 under Chris Winters at Old Town School OF Folk Music. He would perform many talent shows at Francis W Parker School under the band name C & B with fellow friend and musician David Kachalon.
After many successful gigs while in High School, Electric Sammy took his jamming to the East Coast. In the year 1997 Electric Sammy named Long Island ,New York his new home.. Taking Chicago Blues and a understanding of rock and roll to new heights. He would play many many many shows at Bee Jays bar on Hempstead Tpke. Which is directly across the street from Nassau Coliseum. Here is a link to http://setlist.com/ please search artist "Electric Sammy" for setlists. After Long Island had played its part in molding Electric Sammy into a edgier rocker with that East Coast attitude now part of his style he moved back to Chicago. In 2003 upon moving back to Chicago Electric Sammy found himself surrounded by many talented new friends. It was awe inspiring and also fueled his fire to really get something going as a musician. In 2007 Electric Sammy joined Jackson Sneed Band for a full set at WLRS FEst in Louisville . The Show was a success and the band played to a sold out crowd of 20,000-30,000.
