Ten Ton Chicken
Ten Ton Chicken Ten Ton Chicken is a Bay Area-based jam band that started gigging in 1998. The groove-oriented California band came out of the melding of two other bands: Now and Episode. The original lineup of keyboardist/vocalist Nick Peck, guitarist Gary Morrell, bassist Eric "Doc" Kampman, and drummer Rich Dibenedetto lasted until late 2000 when Kampman retired from the band. 2001 brought a new sound with new bassist Tom Fejes and the addition of a saxophonist, Jamison Reed. TTC played at San Francisco's Marijuana March in 1999 and 2000 and has an album's worth of live jams available at mp3.tyedye.com/ten_ton_chicken.
