Tigercity Tigercity was formed in Northampton, MA in the fall of 2004. By summer 2005, Tigercity had themselves a DIY, bedroom electronics-style demo and started working with long time friend/engineer-producer Al Carlson (Brazilian Girls). In two months, Tigercity and Al Carlson molded the process-heavy demo tracks into what became the Tigercity EP (Forge Records). One of the tracks, Time Card appeared on the VICE Magazine CD/DVD Vol. 1 sampler in February, 2006.

Now living in Brooklyn, Tigercity's well-combined guitar-driven rock and electronic pop has them compared to acts such as Roxy Music, Talking Heads, The Police, and Prince.

Tigercity gives a tight and extremely engaging stage performance, recently selling out the Mercury Lounge three times in a row. Tigercity has also played packed rooms in NYC Miami, and Boston, including The Annex, North Six, The Knitting Factory, The Middle East, and Maxwell’s with acts such as Jamie Lidell, M.I.A, Serena Maneesh, Jimmy Edgar, Mobius Band, Oxford Collapse, Bon Savants, Eugene Mirman, and David Cross to name a few.
