DJ Warp While in his teens, DJ Warp was already cultivating a scene of international and electronic music enthusiasts, as well as percussionists and drum lovers alike. Organizing Indian classical concerts and leading drums circles, He never thought of becoming a DJ at the time. He was to used to being behind the drums and playing the music. He soon realized the possibilities of combining different styles of music together and using DJing as a tool to another means of musical expression. He's been going at it for 12 years now, along with his ongoing 20 plus years of drumming. His mission to bring World Music to center stage and promote awareness in its many styles is seen in his passionate support for world music in the Midwest. He has become a staple DJ in the Chicago music scene, playing various styles of music and sharing the stage with top notch touring artists, as well as playing drums and percussion with various bands and musicians.

He is currently a Program director for the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, as well as staging his own concerts, in-store appearances, radio interviews, and local press for some of his favorite touring artists, including Zakir Hussain, Nusrat Fatah Ali Khan, Ali Akbar Khan, Sultan Khan, and many, many others as well.

DJ Warp has shared the stage with many of today's top musical talent. World music artists such as Zakir Hussain, Bill Laswell and Tabla Beat Science, Baaba Maal, Khaled, Femi Kuti, Ali Hassan Kuban, Zap Mama, Hakim, Gigi, Habib Koite, Los De Abajos, Los Mocosos, and many more. Electronic artists such as Autechre, Luke Vibert, Mark Broom, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Mark Bell, Dr. Alex Paterson, Chemical Brothers, DJ Spooky, Pole, Mixmaster Morris, Mark Farina, Prefuse 73, Jack Dangers (Meat Beat Manifesto), DJ Rush, Push Button Objects, Richard Devine, Daft Punk, Tim "Love" Lee, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Neotropic, Stewart Walker, Ben Neill, Scanner, Derrick Carter, Juan Atkins along with tons of others. Some well known Hip Hop artists include: Africa Bammbatta, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane, DJ Craze, The Beat Junkies, Q-Bert, Jazzy Jeff. Other diverse musical artists that he's performed alongside are: Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Art Of Noise, Labradford, Jorge Reyes, The Silver Apples, Arling and Cameron, Low, Holgar Czukay, and Illusion of Safety and many more.
