Jack Straw (IL) JACK STRAW has been delivering the best in jam oriented music in Chicago and surrounding areas since February of 2000. Repetoire consists of the music of the Grateful Dead, Phish, Allman Bros., The Band, Pink Floyd, groovin' originals, and much, much more. The band is fronted by guitarist and singer Jon Gram, a long-time fixture in the Illinois jam band scene. He co-founded one of the Midwest's most revered jam bands, Uncle Jon's Band, in 1982, while attending Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. JACK STRAW consists of Jon, keyboardist Paris Schutz, bassist Ryan Churchill, and drummer Joe Kunkel. We hope to see see at an upcoming show soon!
