Cary Brothers is an indie rock American singer-songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. Brothers is best known for the single Blue Eyes, which was featured on the 2004 film Garden State. He spent his childhood idolizing Elvis Presley (another Tennessee native). He played piano from age 11 until age 13, when he switched to guitar; he still plays that guitar to this day. His debut EP, "All the Rage" was released in 2004, and the follow-up EP, "Waiting for your Letter" was released in 2005. He lists his influences as Brit Pop such as The Stone Roses, The Smiths, and The Cure.
