From their performance at the 2004 Gay Rodeo in La Honda, CA to the popular San Francisco venue 12 Galaxies, this all female ensemble as been kicking up their heels in the SF Bay Area for almost two years.
Featuring members of The Runaway Truck Tramps, Hank, and Cypher In The Snow, The Whoreshoes perform old time and honky tonk songs to put a tear in your eye and drink in your glass. Their wide-ranging instrumentation includes guitar, spoons, mandolin, fiddle, accordion, banjo, lap steel, washboard, keyboard, ukulele and pritnear anything else they can get their hands on, if'n when the spirit moves them. The Whoreshoes are four women who came together from throughout the Bay Area, representing San Francisco, Oakland and Marin County to create traditional-with-a-twist country music.
