Chinese Fingertrap
Chinese Fingertrap Formed in November of 2005, Chinese Fingertrap (CFT) has quickly emerged onto the greater Milwaukee music scene and is showing signs of a Midwest and national breakthrough in the near future. CFT was originally formed as a side project for members of the popular Milwaukee jam-band Gypsy Kitchen. However, as Chinese Fingertrap began playing shows, their popularity and success grew rapidly, attracting crowds of hundreds of dancing fans of their own.

This four-piece band has one of the most eclectic sounds in today's music. Members include Eric Frank on keys, vocals, and percussion, Nathan Kamsler on saxophone, Brian Saulig on bass, and Cody Schleichert on drums/percussion. With influences as widespread as Charlie Parker, MMW, Beck, Soulive, and the Flecktones, CFT’s sound has no borders. Although their roots are based in the styles of Funk, Jazz, and Jam, Chinese Fingertrap is known to mix in plenty of Blues, R&B, and good old Rock ‘n Roll.
