Charlie Hitchcock
Charlie Hitchcock Charlie Hitchcock has been playing guitar for over 23 years and has a wide variety of musical styles and influences under his belt. Well versed in jazz, blues, funk, R&B, and rock, he has a chameleon-like ability to blend into almost any musical situation. At the begining of Charlie's musical career, he was already playing with top musicians in the world such as Michael Brecker, Airto Moreira, and Jimmy Haslip. His move to Los Angeles gave way for Charlie to become a top call hired gun and session player. One of those calls was to join the fledgling band Particle, which went on to enjoy enormous success, selling out venues across the country. Since then he has shared the stage with many diverse and acclaimed artists ranging from Warren Haynes to the B-52s to Robbie Krieger of the Doors. This also led to forming the band Hydra and touring with Mickey Hart from the Grateful Dead. Charlie emerses himself into everything involving his instrument and builds his own line of guitars, amps, and effects pedals, called Chucktone.
