Hope Massive, formed in 2003, is the pinnacle of roots and vintage dancehall music in the Southeast. From the foundations of the areas most successful and respected bands come the musicians that shape Hope Massive.
From Boone, NC, these well seasoned and professional musicians deliver beautiful melodies, lushes harmonies and explosive lead lines. The intensity of the rhythm section creates evocative grooves which keep the dance floor moving all night. Hope Massive combines reggae, vintage dancehall, rock, Latin jazz and other world music’s to create a distinctive sound all its own.
Members of Hope Massive have shared the stage with such artists as Morgan Heritage, The Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band, The Wailers, Damien Marley, Israel Vibrations, Keller Williams, Ben Harper, Culture, The Mediations, Eek-a-Mouse, The Itals and blues legend Etta Baker. Hope Massive has also performed for such benefits as The Watauga Youth Network, Junaleska African Heritage Festival and The Watauga Political Rally.
