Grateful Gary is a longtime Chicago-area musician and sound engineer. He played in the St.Louis GD-tribute band "The Schwag" for three years, then started "Grateful Gary and Friends" ...which modulated into "Magic Bus", his current pride-and-joy.

Gary also plays acoustic solo-, duo- and trio- versions of his music. --Watch this space for the gigs! He's one of the rare breed of musician who plays BOTH guitar and bass, equally.

Grateful Gary also is an experienced and respected audio engineer. In addition to currently being the Supervisor of engineers at The Alley (Highwood), he owns a medium-sized PA system (for hire) and occasionally does the sound for the Chicago band Mr. Blotto.

His other passions? Riding his Honda VTX-1800 motorcycle and underground cave exploring.
