The assemblance of three like-minded individuals is a very rare occurrence these days. Finding three individuals who groove together is a whole other phenomenon. Good Question is the creative embodiment of this energy.
Blending the backgrounds of these individuals is what this band is about. Good Question, from the hills surrounding the mountain town of Nederland, Colorado, is Ron Irving (percussive wavelengths), Jonathan Lantz (low end harmonic
vibrations) and Michael Nuzum (delectable treble tantalizer).
For the past several years this power trio has been filling the mountain air, and the local watering holes, with their unique blend of rock, funk and improvisational compositions. Pulling
influences from everything from Bob Dylan to Frank Zappa.
Michael Nuzum and Jonathan Lantz played with each other in Uncle Woody in the early 90's. Playing in the local Boulder scene for two years and venturing out to Steamboat and Telluride when time allowed. Jonathan Lantz then played in the Boulder based band, Recreational Vehicle, playing at the fabulous Fox Theatre, The Boulder Theatre and touring the Great Pacific Northwest. Ron Irving played in the band, Fe', in the early 90's, circumnavigating the greater Colorado Plateau along with various studio projects including the likes of Tony Furtado.
Good Question serves as the outlet for these three individuals who balance the full load of working, being fathers and living life to it's fullest in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. Experiencing the movement that overwhelms the air around them is an amazing experience.
