The Good, the Bad and the Queen Hit North America

The Good, the Bad and the Queen
The Good, the Bad and the Queen has been touring in the UK, but has recently announced a string of shows for North America. Prior to playing Coachella at the end of April, the band will hit New York City, Washington D.C., Austin (SXSW) and New Orleans in March.

For those who somehow haven’t seen The Good, the Bad and the Queen plastered over just about every legitimate music rag, the band is Blur frontman Damon Albarn‘s new album and new project. Initially reported as a solo album by Albarn with Danger Mouse producing, the solo project was switched to a new group formed by Albarn.

The group consists of Albarn, The Clash‘s bassist Paul Simonon, former Verve member and Blur and Gorillaz guitarist Simon Tong, and Fela Kuti drummer Tony Allen.
