8TH ANNUAL DESERT ROCKS FESTIVAL SET FOR
JUNE 7-10 AT JENK STAR RANCH IN GREEN VALLEY, UTAH
The 8th annual
Desert Rocks Festival, located in the red rock cliffs of Utah on a private ranch outside of Green River Utah, is redefining music festivals by integrating bands with world-class visionary music, speakers, artists and performers alongside art installations, conscious films, and workshops. This forward-thinking festival is an interactive community, based on random-acts-of-art, theme camps, and familiar and new musical explorations.
Twice as big as in previous years, the 125+ bands include: Beats Antique, The Wailers, RJD2, Melvin Seals & JGB, Brother Ali, Lucent Dossier Experience, Random Rab, Chali 2na, Elephant Revival. Engaging Speakers and Artists include: Android Jones, Daniel Pinchbeck, Carey Thompson, Mitch Shultz.
In accordance with the venue capacity and in an effort to keep the wonderful community vibe, only 3,000 tickets will be sold for the 2012 event and the first tier pricing has already sold out.
