ZBB BRINGS MAJOR NEW FEST TO SOUTH CAROLINA

The Zac Brown Band has curated for the inaugural Southern Ground Music & Food Festival, to be held October 21-23 at Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island in Charleston, SC. Ticket pre-sale goes live to ZBB fan club members September 9, and the general sale opens September 10 at 10am ET.

ZBB has designed every aspect of the weekend, offering concertgoers some of their favorite handpicked musicians, tastebud-seducing fare from the culinary world’s top chefs, a custom-designed video projection screen and a Martin MLA sound system to optimize the experience for every seat.

In addition to three performances from Zac Brown Band, the bill will feature:

– Train
– Eric Church
– Fitz and the Tantrums
– Warren Haynes Band
– Steel Pulse
– Trigger Hippy
– The Del McCoury Band and The Preservation Hall Jazz Band
– Brett Dennen

And performances by Southern Ground Artists:

– Sonia Leigh
– The Wood Brothers
– Nic Cowan
– Levi Lowrey
– Blackberry Smoke
– Clay Cook

A second stage will feature performances by additional musicians in between main stage sets.

VIP ticketing options are available including Zac Brown Band’s customized Front Porch Stage Boxes. The boxes provide concert-goers with on-stage seating mere feet away from the performers; a four-course gourmet meal prepared by Southern Ground Executive Chef Rusty Hamlin and James Beard Award-winners Sean Brock (Executive Chef – Husk, McCrady’s, Charleston, SC), Mike Lata (Chef/Partner – FIG, Charleston, SC), and RJ Cooper (Owner/Executive Chef – Rogue 24, Washington, DC); and complimentary beverages including premium beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.

Additional concessions will be available from “Cookie,” Zac Brown Band’s tractor trailer-sized mobile kitchen, which will offer a la carte items prepared with Brown’s famous Southern Ground Grub GA Clay Spice Rub and Zac’s own Brown Sauce, as well as selections from local Charleston restaurants, providing the best gourmet Southern fare.

Southern Ground Music & Food Festival is promoted by JAM, Outback Concerts, and Sound Events. Tickets start at $57 and Gates will open at 12pm ET on Friday, October 21 and Sunday, October 23 and at 11am ET on Saturday, October 22.
