Eli Jebidiah To Leave Poor Man’s Whiskey
By Team JamBase Jul 29, 2011 • 7:46 am PDT

Eli Jebidiah will be leaving Poor Man’s Whiskey on August 7th to pursue his solo band Huckle. Eli is currently recording Huckle’s debut but will perform with PMW three more times – July 29 at Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz, CA, Dead On The Creek in Willits, CA on August 5, and at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in San Francisco on August 7.
A letter from Eli about this change reads:

I am writing to let you know of my decision to leave PMW to focus full time on my solo band, Huckle. I would like to take this opportunity to express how grateful I am to the Whiskey community for all the fun, love, and support you have extended to me over the last 8 years. PMW has been a wonderful experience, and I know that much of that is indebted to you. I will miss seeing you all at shows, and being inspired by the energy and vibes you bring.
The decision to move on from PMW was a difficult choice. I love my band mates and experiencing music with them. That said, I am ready to change musical directions and follow my heart into my new band Huckle. I will be releasing my debut record this fall and touring soon after to support it. I am really excited to have the opportunity to commit myself fully to this new music. I hope you take a moment to check Huckle out. If you are interested in more info about my new trio, come visit me at my website. There you will find Huckle tour dates, music, videos, and the latest news. You can also follow what I will be up to on my Huckle Facebook page.
Change is good… as George Harrison says, “All things must pass”. I wish my PMW brothers continued success in the years ahead, I know they have some great things planned for the future. In the meantime, I’m looking forward my to the next phase of my musical journey with Huckle. I hope to see you out there!
Much Love,
Eli Jebidiah
