APRIL 23, EVERETT THEATRE, EVERETT, WA

Soul United Productions in cooperation with The Staxx Brothers and 20 Riverside have launched a unique all-ages and community-oriented event, 425 Fest, scheduled for April 23 at the historic Everett Theatre in Everett, WA.

The Jazz bands participating in the first annual 425 Fest hail from Jackson High School (directed by Lesley Moffat) and Edmonds Community College (directed by John Sanders). Everett High will be represented by the Jazz influenced Rock band Omega III.

This event is also a fundraiser for The Everett Historical Theatre and the music programs participating in the event. The Rec Room, a soon to be launched recording studio and venue (across Hewitt Ave from Comcast Arena) is donating a private event and recording session to the school that sells most advanced tickets for 425 Fest, to raise money for the Theater and their program. The event is all ages. Tickets are $10. Doors open at 7pm, concert starts at 8pm. Purchase advanced tickets at The Everett Theater Box Office, at etix.com, or from enterprising music students at schools participating in this event.

The Staxx Brothers will release their third album, Jungle Cat, in late spring. Here’s a little tease:
