After the exhibitions and galleries have closed, the evening’s entertainment will culminate the PGM Art Project event at Bardot featuring a performance by Perry-Etty vs. Chris Cox (Farrell and his wife and musical collaborator Etty Farrell vs. Chris Cox) and special guests to be announced. On Wednesday, December 1, prior to the PGM event, Perry & Etty Farrell will host an intimate VIP dinner at South Beach art deco hotspot Townhouse served by BONDST, executive chef Mike Hiraga’s sleek sushi restaurant.
In the spirit of the week’s festivities, Farrell and Garrett Chau have created the PGM Art Project Grant whose recipient will receive $7,000 and whose artwork will be displayed at future PGM events. Lola Ink Media will book a gallery series for the artist in major markets such as Los Angeles and NYC. Starting today, Tuesday, November 16, all street and fine artists are encouraged to apply for the PGM Art Project Grant by submitting a 300 DPI Hi-Res scan of artwork along with their contact information to: artproject@pgmfestival.com.
The grant recipient will be chosen by Farrell and a selection of art experts in spring of 2011. Further details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
