Starting on 12/28 at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC, Telepath will make their way south and return to the Live Wire Music Hall in Savannah on 12/29, as well as The Masquerade in Atlanta on 12/30. New Year’s Eve will find Telepath ringing in 2010 at the New Earth Music Hall in Athens, GA.
Dubconscious will open the 12/28 show, and Archnemesis (Telepath’s Curt Heiny and MO Theory/Chronicles of the LandSquid‘s Justin Aubuchon) will open the rest of the run.
Appropriately, Telepath’s latest album Contact has been released on the Actiontrax music platform via Planetwise, where every album supports a social or environmental project. Telepath has elected to tie their album to the work of Foundation Rwanda, and a portion of proceeds from every album sold will help to send Rwandan children to school. Foundation Rwanda was established to improve the lives of children by providing funding for their secondary school education. To learn more, please go here.

Formed in 2006 and hailing from Philadelphia, PA via Asheville NC, Telepath is a unique new expression in the current live and electronic music scenes. The 3-piece – comprised of Michael Christie (keyboards), Heiny (bass), and Mike B (drums) – use a wide variety of self-created samples containing Indian and Arabic singers and musicians, Afrobeat-influenced horn lines, dubbed-out effects, amongst other elements to generate the multi-layered sound. Telepath has played to passionate audiences at theaters, clubs, and festivals around the country. With three albums to date: Fire One (2006), The Remixes (2007), and Contact (2008), Telepath continues to build its loyal and ever growing fan base, while continuing their commitment to creating positive and inspiring environments, both on record and with live performances.
