U.K. TRIO BAND OF SKULLS TO EMBARK ON THEIR FIRST NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

Southampton, U.K. newcomers Band of Skulls will hit the
road this summer for their first national U.S. tour. The retro rockers begin their
tour July 23 in Portland, OR and will make stops at the Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle, WA on July 24, Spaceland in Los Angeles, CA on
July 28 and Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL on August 8. Band of Skulls
will criss-cross the U.S. as their debut album Baby Darling Doll Face
Honey is released on July 28 via Shangri-La Music.
Baby Darling Doll Face Honey was produced, recorded and mixed by Ian
Davenport (Supergrass, Badly Drawn Boy) and recorded at Courtyard
Studios in Oxfordshire.
The three members of Band of Skulls, Russell Marsden (guitar & vocals),
Emma Richardson (bass & vocals) and Matt Hayward (drums), first met at
college and quickly discovered that having two lead singers and three
songwriters in a band was always going to present unlimited
possibilities. As a result of the early enthusiasm surrounding the band, Band of Skulls
was featured as iTunes Single of The Week in all iTunes stores globally
with their debut single "I Know What I Am" (listen below). The song garnered rave
reviews from new fans around the world and was downloaded thousands of times.
