During their 2009 winter tour, the band launched “moe. in a moe.ment” and introduced fans to delivery-on-demand MP3s of each night’s concert on a sleek, 1GB USB flash drive. These USBs not only provide the fans with instantaneous access to the show in a revolutionary compact product, but they also offer a selection of sound previously reserved solely for the band itself – a sound that is quickly becoming recognized as the “moe.foh hybrid mix”. “FOH,” or “Front of House,” refers to the optimal listening zone at a live show; the position from which the audio engineer mixes the live concert sound.
The moe.foh hybrid mix is a unique mix of the soundboard matrix, along with just the right amount of several audience mics mixed in, putting you in the sweet spot every night!
The band has received much positive feedback on the USB endeavor and would like to offer free “moe.foh hybrid mix” soundboard patches during their Bonnaroo set as a thank you to their fans for being so receptive to the project.
*Patches are available on a first come, first served basis and crew will not be able to assist you with your gear, cords, power or strategies. As always, soundboards and audience tapings are free and tradable, USB recordings of other shows are not.
