The Burnin Smyrnans announce Tour Dates in support of Travel Along
including shows at Wakarusa Festival and 2 nights at the Boombutywah Festival (TN)

2009 marks the seventh year of touring for The Burnin Smyrnans, one of Florida's
hottest musical exports. The band, which is best known for its original blend of reggae, jam, rock, psychedelic grooves and their explosive live performances, have been building a veritable army of fans with their consistent non-stop touring and the success of their most recent studio release, Travel Along.
Currently the band is gearing up for what looks to be a breakout year. The band
is booked again at Wakarusa, the Midwest's biggest festival event. The band will also be playing
2 nights at the Boombutywah Festival in Kingston, TN and are scheduled to play the Mossy
Headz Festival in Ponce De Leon, Florida.
In other news, The Burnin Smyrnans will be heading back to the studio at the end of this
month to begin recording their follow up to Travel Along. Consisting of Jeff White (bass, lead vocals), Jason Wigley (guitars, synths, mandolin, percussion), Anthony Diaz (drums, vocals), Jason Rogers (lead guitar), and Eric Christian (saxophone, flute, vocals), the Burnin Smyrnans have released four studio albums, an EP, and a live album. Fans can expect even more of what they love on The Burnin Smyrnans seventh release: great sing-along lyrics, thumping grooves, spacious soundscaping, and unforgettable melodies, all fueled by an organic passion rarely found in today's music scene.
