great festival. If rothbury wasnt on the same schedule I would definetly go back. Dont forget to bring you sunscreen and make sure you dont set up next to the skate park. Wow that was the dumbest idea I have ever come up with.

Hell yeah on DeVotchKa, I saw them at some sold-out Fillmore shows a few months back and they are an amazing act. I hope they bring the on-stage contortionists with them. Also looking forward to some orchard lounge action. They'll be with the biscuits at red rocks. Loving the DJ love there. Paper Bird will be a must-see - check out their album.

woohooooo high sierra!

no way! HSMF added slip, bands with the members of the slip, ALO, bands with members of ALO AND 4 of Vince Herman's projects AGAIN! I guess if you have a formula you should stick with it but come on. You guys have fun a the festivaaaallll my coin is going to some events that bring in some different acts.

If you look at the line up in its entirety, there are plenty of NEW acts and FAVORITES. Thats one of the things that is so great about High Sierra. ALO, Salmon, Slip, they always bring it.....HSMF has an amzing way of balancing new adventures with old favorites. You gotta straddle the line to make everyone happy, and HSMF does that with amazing grace. Tradition mixed with adventure is the way to make a great festival. Find one multi genre festival out there that doesnt do that....bet you cant.
