Coachella iPhone App

"We had a prototype of this
on the Yellow Submarine."
Got iPhone, will travel. Get your iPhone charged and ready to head to the desert with the new official Coachella Music Festival iPhone application. The free app, which debuted this week, can be downloaded at the Coachella website and offers photo uploading, the "Coachooser" (to create your personal Coachella schedule) and the priceless "friend finder" (maybe the most useful feature of all, as any big festival attendee can attest), along with the basics of a day-by-day line-up and venue map. No iPhone? Maybe next year this app will be available for Blackberry carriers.

The 2009 Coachella Music Festival takes place April 17-19 in Indio, CA at the Empire Polo Club. For information on this year's lineup, which includes headliners Paul McCartney, The Killers and The Cure, see JamBase's earlier newswire.

Coachella= L.A. Large, hyped, hot, rude, impersonal....not to my liking. Not to offend people from L.A., as I was born in Long Beach, but this festival has very little to be desired, other than the millions spent on the line-up. So-cal music heads should go to J-tree to experience a better feeling festival.

natey good thing i drove 900 miles 2 see joshua tree's landscape & climb more than the weak fest, It was in my opinion way 2 small, rainbow gathering with live music sounds more like it. [get real coachella]
