Steve Kimock and Friends is legendary Hammond B3 player, Melvin Seals, best known for his work with the Jerry Garcia Band. The glistening new line up also includes the cookin’ rhythm section of Janis Wallin on bass (Family Groove Company) and Kimock’s own son, John Morgan Kimock on drums. Rounding out the configuration with their soulful crooning are “The Girls” on vocals, featuring Cheryl Rucker and Shirley Starks (Melvin Seals and JGB).

Check Out "Family Groove Company" with Janis Wallin on bass.

If you've ever seen kimock play a show in a hooded monk costume, you'd realize that he is a JEDI MASTER. I once saw a free show in tallahassee that was a purim costume party, and the whole band and audience dressed up. Steve was in the jedi/monk robes and it was sick. One of the best shows i ever saw by any band. Did i mention it was a free show...3-18-2003. Mad props to Seth at 'Shimon Presents' for hooking us all up with such a kick ass free show.

I grabbed the free FLAC, really sounds nice. It's nice to have some quality music given to us. This is FLAC, not just 128 kbps mp3, big difference. Thanks to all involved for the music, someone had to pay for it to be given away. Keep jamming.
