It's pretty awesome that Pete is playing at his own 90th birthday celebration.

Also, this lineup is amazing. Is it only one night?

A national treasure should be celebrated with this kind of "red carpet" line up. Woody had "this machine kills facists" on his axe and Pete has "this machine surrounds hate and forces it to surrender" on his banjo. We need more people armed with these types of weapons in the world. Happy B-day Pete and I wish I could be there.

btw...Seeger was the one who tried to cut the cord with an axe and stop the show at the newport folk fest when Dylan played electric. I'm not sure how close they are, I know Bob has said in interviews that that moment really hurt him and he was shocked at Pete's behavior. He was apparently pretty enraged over the whole electric thing.

This won't be something an average fan will be able to afford. I'd love to see it come out of the MSG Vault though. I think around that time they have the MSG Concert Series in stellar HD. The lineup is absolutely amazing. tomthumb86...don't diss on Warren because he loves to play with as many different musicians as possible. I wish there were more musicians out there as willing to share the stage with so many people. Not only are they celebrating a legends long inspirational life but they are also performing for a good cause.

This guy is awesome! I hope that it's just a rumor about him being pissed that Dylan plugged in. If not that's pretty lame. Let us not judge someones entire story on one bad idea.

Warren Haynes is a boring guitar player, and sounds like the singer from creed

Fantastic lineup.

Never really got into Pete Seegers music but I am inspired and extremely thankful for his vital work in the environmental movement as well as founding the CLEARWATER.

I'm not against the philosophy of playing with a lot of people...lord knows Jerry was huge in that realm and i appreciate that Haynes brings a lot of amazing musicians together in his own right. I just feel like he is everywhere and it simply gets old. It's like something they'd spoof on in south park. Any get together for anything no matter the reason...better call in warren haynes.

it's not a rummor that he was pissed at dylan for playing electric, though some say that Pete's father was in attendence and had ear problems and Pete was freaking out because his father was really freaked out, also pete said in his own defence that the tragedy of dylan's electric preformance was that you couldnt hear the words. Amen brother Pete. Amen. Check out the No Direction Home documentary, there is even a fictional account of it in I'm Not There.

All great artists coming together (including Warren Haynes - for all of you naysayers) for a great cause and a true legend - this is not a show to miss, even if you have to sneak your way into the garden
