Tron-A-Thon Electro Summit

TRON-A-THON APRIL 10 & 11 at CLUB NASHWA & HOOKAH JOE's in Asheville, NC

Future Rock
Comagun Music and Trinumeral Productions are proud to present TRON-A-THON, a very special two night gala event, and most importantly, Asheville, NC's first electronic music summit, featuring Pnuma Trio, Eliot Lipp, KAP 10, Future Rock, DJ Rootz, Sci Fi, Random Rabbit, Two Fresh, Freepeoples Frequency (aka FFQ), Agobi Project, Midnight Ace, Aquarium, Somni Suite, DJ Ginza, Mindelixir, EP3, Tropa, Darth Brown, DJ Bowie and Par D.

Hosted by neighboring clubs, Nashwa and Hookah Joe's, TRON-A-THON features a who's who of up and coming and already established electronic music acts.

Headliners for the festival include the Boulder, CO based Pnuma Trio, whose own brand of break beat livetronica has been burning up dance floors coast to coast for several years now. Pnuma Trio became a near household name in the electronic and live improv music scene after wowing crowds at such festivals as Camp Bisco and Langerado. Also on the lineup is Brooklyn based producer, Eliot Lipp, whose late night set at Trinumeral Festival was surely one of the highlights of Asheville's reigning top festival.

The bill is rounded up by Chicago based Future Rock, underground sensations DJ Rootz and DJ Ginza and regional favorites Sci Fi, KAP10, Two Fresh and Freepeoples Frequency (with members of SeepeopleS) plus many, many more.

The event takes place on two stages in two clubs (Club Nashwa, Hookah Joe's), but inside only one building, so fans of multiple TRON-A-THON acts will not miss a beat. Due to the indoor nature of this event, potential summit attendees should act fast as this event will sell out. A very limited number of tickets are available. Here's the news from before jambase can post it

Phish: The Biography

Parke Puterbaugh's official biography of Phish is now set for a May 25 release. Phish: The Biography evolved out of his 1995 interview with the group for a Rolling Stone article. Da Capo Press is publishing the 320 page book which is described as "the product of a decade of interviews with all band members, tracing their evolution from prep school to enormous success in the mid-’90s and beyond. Puterbaugh provides unique insight into their music and complicated interpersonal dynamics; examines their controversial later years; and reveals the real role drugs played in their breakup."
