Los Straitjackets will release new studio album
The Further Adventures of Los Straitjackets April 29 on Yep Roc Records

Los Straitjackets
Embracing the entire spectrum of the rock and roll sonic cornucopia, famed masked badasses Los Straitjackets are back in classic form with The Further Adventures of Los Straitjackets, their first album after the critically acclaimed border rock-worshiping Rock en Español Vol. 1 featuring guest vocals from Mexican rockabilly belter Big Sandy.

While tunes featuring guest vocals have consistently been a part of Los Straitjackets’ repertoire, the art of the rock and roll instrumental has always been their true calling. Big riffs and even bigger chops are again the order of the day on The Further Adventures of… “It’s definitely heavier — more garage-y than our other records,” says guitarist Daddy-O Grande. “It’s definitely a little more of a punk record than before. I think it’s reflective of the fact that we needed to get back to that.”

The Further Adventures of Los Straitjackets is the band’s first all instrumental album since 2003’s Supersonic Guitars in 3-D.
